BRIDGETON , Mo. (KMOX) — Lots of politicians are talking about the need to add jobs to stave off another Recession
In North County, AT&T has announced that its doing something about it.
John Sondag, who heads up AT&T Missouri, tells KMOX News they’re adding 64 new technician jobs at their facility in Bridgeton.
“The other announcement we made was an investment of 20 million dollars to expand a data center that we have out in Bridgeton. That will take about a year and a half for that facility to be build and expanded,” explains Sondag.
Sondag says the rapid growth of AT&T’s U-Verse service made the expansion possible. In fact, over the past several years AT&T has invested around 2 billion dollars to networks in the St. Louis area.
