Missouri Man Dies After Tased By Deputies

LINN CREEK, Mo. (AP) — The state Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a mid-Missouri home invasion suspect who was subdued with a stun gun.
Camden County authorities identify the man as 46-year-old Glenn Norman of Neelyville.
Authorities say a Linn Creek resident called the sheriff’s department around 4:30 a.m. saying a man had knocked on his door and pushed his way in. The two began struggling and the suspect left.
Deputies approached a man in the neighborhood. The sheriff’s office says the man resisted arrested, and the deputies used a Taser to subdue him.
Deputies performed CPR when the man began struggling to breathe. He was pronounced dead around 6:30 a.m.
An autopsy was planned to determine the cause of death.
Linn Creek is about 50 miles southwest of Jefferson City.
