ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Not long after an endangered person advisory was issued by St. Louis County police for Steven Edwin Krost, the 17-year-old was found.

Krost fled his South County home around 2:30 a.m. Saturday while under the influence of alcohol and the powerful prescription drug Xanax. He was said to have had a history of violent behavior.

County police say Krost was discovered later that afternoon and was taken to a hospital.
