COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A Missouri woman is accused of being drunk when she drove the wrong way for four miles on a southwestern Illinois freeway, eventually crashing into an oncoming car.

Authorities charged 22-year-old Gabrielle Netzer of Columbia, Mo., with driving under the influence after the collision Friday night on Interstate 55-70 near Collinsville.

Police say Netzer was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when she hit a car driven by 23-year-old Christa Davidson of Godfrey.

Netzer was flown to a St. Louis hospital. There’s no word on her condition Tuesday. Davidson was treated at a hospital and released.

Netzer doesn’t have a listed home telephone number. A message seeking comment was left with her relatives in Highland.
