Man Critical After St. Louis Robbery/Shooting

ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-A man is in critical condition after being shot twice during an early morning robbery near Kingshighway and Delmar in St. Louis.

Police Spokeswoman Scharon Jackson says the two gunmen approached the 36-year-old victim as he got out of his car at Washington and North Euclid shortly after 2:00 am.  They took his money and then tried to take his vehicle.

She says the suspects shot the victim in the leg and abdomen and fled in a dark minivan.

The suspects are described as 18 to 25-year-old black men.

Saturday evening, a 16-year-old was shot in the 4500 block of  Margaretta. The victim tells police he was standing on the front porch of a home when he was shot in the buttocks. He does not know who shot him nor why.

He’s in stable condition.
