St. Louis Police Officers to Hold New Elections

Greg Branson

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – There will be new elections in the St. Louis Police Officers Association.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports the Association has announced it is putting aside the results of the September 15th elections and will schedule a  new vote.

Past Association President Tom Walsh was defeated by Sergeant David Bonenberger in the September 15th vote.  But there were charges the results were compromised after blank ballots and return envelopes were found in the desk of the longtime association secretary, shortly after she was fired.
