Man’s Arm Severed After Being Hit by Train

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A man is critically injured after a train struck him, severing his arm.

The train struck the man Thursday morning in an industrial area of the city. Police believe the injured man was homeless and may have been trying to hop on the train. His name and age were not released.

The man also suffered a leg injury and was in critical condition at Saint Louis University Hospital.
