New Mexico Woman Killed in St. Charles County Crash

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) –  A one-vehicle crash Sunday in St. Charles County left one person dead, another seriously injured.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an SUV going east on Interstate 70 near Wentzville Parkway went out of control after the driver, 46-year-old Terry Taylor of New Mexico, suffered a medical emergency.

The vehicle ran off the highway, struck a fence and overturned.

A passenger in the SUV, 53-year-old Rebecca Taylor, was killed.

Terry Taylor suffered serious injuries and was air-lifted to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.

Two others in the vehicle escaped with minor injuries.
