Police Arrest 6 Juveniles for “Knockout Game” Assault Involving Mayor

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis police tell KMOX News, there have been six arrests in the latest case of the so-called “knockout game”.

As KMOX News reported Tuesday, St. Louis Mayor Slay was on his way home from an event last Friday when he and his police officer bodyguard came upon a man lying in a pool of blood.

On Friday, police took 5 boys and 1 girl into custody, all are 13 or 14 years of age, and are in juvenile detention. Because of their age, their names will not be released at this time.

The victim suffered a broken jaw.

    Sad, the life of a completely innocent man has been forever adversely effected by a group of cowardly urban thugs. I considerate myself a forgiving person but these teens need to be held accountable for what they’ve done to this victim. These are dangerous times in St. Louis City.
