Teen Injured In Accidental Hanging

FENTON, Mo. (KMOX) – A 17-year-old haunted house employee from Fenton was found unconscious Thursday night–hanging from a noose–at one of the region’s top Halloween season attractions.

Jefferson County sheriff’s captain Ron Arnhart says investigators were called to Creepyworld, Thursday night, after a co-worker discovered something was wrong with the victim, “We don’t know how that occurred or even why it occurred. But, the noose is there as a prop.”

Arnhart says foul play is not suspected, “The investigation looks like it was just an unfortunate incident.”

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. No word on her condition today.
