FENTON, Mo. (KMOX) -  Good news concerning a teenaged girl who nearly died while performing at a haunted house in Jefferson County last week.

The 17-year-old worker at Creepy World is said to be improving.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s investigators say that the girl has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit, but her official condition is not known.

They’re planning to release further updates as her condition changes.

A co-worker discovered the teen hanging from a noose at Creepy World Thursday night.

She was unconscious as she was rushed to the hospital.

Investigators say foul play is not suspected, that it appears to have been “just an unfortunate incident”.
