Metro-East Man Accused Of HIV Crime

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) – A South Roxana, Illinois man is wanted on two felony counts of criminal transmission of HIV.

The Madison County State’s Attorney’s office says 41-year-old Timothy Beamon was diagnosed as HIV-positive fifteen years ago and recently had intimate contact with two victims.

A judge set Beamon’s bond at $100,000.

If convicted, Beamon faces a maximum penalty of three to seven years in prison.
