GRANITE CITY, IL (KMOX) - A Granite City couple faces child neglect charges after their one and two year old children were found wandering the streets , in only underwear.

A neighbor called police when the boy and girl were spotted in the 2100 block of Delmar.

Police say the parents were at a school function with another child and a roommate who lives with them was home, but asleep.

The children were treated for exposure and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is also investigating.
