Katherine Anderson, CEO of Andy’s Seasoning, Dies At Age 79

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Katherine Anderson, CEO of St. Louis-based Andy’s Seasoning, died Monday evening due to complications associated with a year-long illness.
She was 79.
Anderson was a former worker for the City of St. Louis who took over the reins of leadership at Andy’s when her husband and the firm’s former CEO, Reuben Anderson, passed away in November 1996.
She’s credited with expanding the Andy’s Seasoning brand and guiding the firm through tumultuous financial times in the wake of her husband’s death.
Anderson was involved with local charities, serving on the board of of the United Way of St. Louis and the Gateway Classic Sports Foundation.
She was a member/affiliate of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), St. Louis Minority Business Council (SLMBC), and the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (RCGA).
Visitation is Sunday, Nov. 27th from 4-7 pm at Austin A. Layne Mortuary, 7733 Natural Bridge Road.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, Nov. 28th at Agape Christian Center, 2410 Gardiner Drive in Moline Acres 63136.
