Missouri Mourns Soldier Killed In Afghanistan

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) U.S. and state flags will fly at half-staff across Missouri today to honor a Wayne County soldier who died in Afghanistan. Governor Jay Nixon ordered that flags at government buildings in all 114 counties be flown at half-staff Saturday to honor 21-year-old Specialist James Roland Burnett Junior. The Pentagon says he was killed by an improvised explosive device on November 16th.
