U.S. and state flags were flying at half-staff across Missouri Saturday to honor a Wayne County soldier killed in action in Afghanistan.

Governor Nixon ordered that flags at government buildings in all 114 counties be flown at half-staff to honor 21-year-old Army Specialist James Burnett, killed by a roadside bomb earlier this month.
