Man Charged in 7-11 Robbery

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  He reportedly jumped over the counter of a south St. Louis 7-11 and announced, “Here’s the deal, give me the money.”

Now, 38-year-old Billy Ray Fowler’s behind bars in connection with Sunday’s robbery in the 2800 block of Sulphur Ave.

A police report indicates Fowler also threatened to break the clerk’s finger “so you can’t call the police”.

He allegedly made off with cash and cigarettes.

He’s now jailed on 2nd degree burglary charges with bond set at $20,000.
