WASHINGTON PARK, Il. (KMOX)-A man was murdered Thursday night, while sitting in his car, waiting for his brother to come out of their home with money to go to the store.

It happened in the 5200 block of Forest Boulevard in Washington Park.

Police say that while the 23-year-old victim waited in the car, his killer walked up with a high-powered rifle and opened fire.

The victim’s name is not being released yet.

Investigators have not yet identified a suspect.
