CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX)-The man who murdered his estranged wife in the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center parking garage in August of last year, has been given two consecutive life prison terms.
Christopher Colletta of Hillsboro stabbed Mary Daniels as she walked to her car after getting off work. The couple was in the process of getting a divorce.
Colletta was convicted in November of first degree murder and armed criminal action.
Before being sentenced this morning, Colletta apologized for the killing, which the judge called “unspeakable and horrific.”
