ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is out with its revised winter weather forecast, but it doesn’t really tells us much about what to expect in the St. Louis area.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Ben Miller says we are in going into a La Nina pattern, which means there’s not a clear signal for us.
He says the overall pattern means colder and wetter than normal to the north and warmer and dryer than normal to the south and we’re in the middle, “If one of those two patterns shifts up or down a little bit, we could be in either one of them.”
Miller says there’s no indication which way they may shift, if they shift at all.
