22-year-old Robert Mason-Ellman was taken into custody following a burglary in the 900 block of Greenwich Green last Tuesday.

Detectives were able to learn that since this past August, Mason-Ellman has sold jewelry to a coin company in Creve Coeur 14 times, and at a dollars-for-gold shop in Fairview Heights Illinois an additional 10 times, raking in more than $11,000 from those sales.

Town and Country detectives also recovered jewelry from Mason-Ellman and are currently trying to identify additional theft victims.

They’ve released photos of some of the recovered jewelry, and anyone with information can contact Detective Sgt. Rick Kranz at kranzrg@town-and-country.org, or at (314) 587-2860.

They can also call CrimeStoppers at (866) 371-TIPS (8477).
