The Southeastern Conference released their 2012 football schedule on Wednesday morning. Missouri will have eight conference games beginning on September 8 against the Georgia Bulldogs. KMOX Sports Director Tom Ackerman joins John and Mike to discuss the announcement.

In the secretive communist land of North Korea, a 25-mile long procession is taking place to honor Kim Jong-Il. Paul Brandus of the West Wing Reports joins the show to comment on the event happening in the Far East.

The Hancock family, mostly just John, is struggling with their dog Gracie. Dr. Caroline Gilje, founder of the Barrett Station Veterinary Clinic, tries to get to the core of the various issues.

Mike Shannon, a future Hall of Fame broadcaster according to John Hancock, checks in from south of the Ohio River yet north of the Equator. John and Mike get his thoughts on Carlos Beltran and plans to celebrate the New Year.

Any plans for New Years Eve? Saturday, First Night is celebrating its twentieth anniversary, and tenth at Grand Center. Kelley Weber, VP of Marketing and Communications for Grand Center Inc., joins the show to let everyone know about the event, which will have theme of ‘Xanadu’.
