Four Accused of Torturing and Kidnapping St. Charles Man

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) – Four men are charged with kidnapping a 22-year-old St. Charles man and torturing him — because he owed them about five-hundred bucks
The victim told investigators that he was forcibly taken from his home, 500 block of south 5th Street, to a residence in the 400 block of Dove Dr. in St. Charles where he reported to have been beaten, tortured, and robbed while being held against his will.
St Charles Police Lt. Mike Akers said when officers arrive at the home the victim’s “hands and feet were bound by duct tape.”
The victim was able to escape and call police when the suspects left the home for a short period of time. Lt. Akers said two suspects, the victims cousins, were arrested that same evening. Further investigation lead to the arrest of four suspects involved in this case.
Jeffrey C. Wasser, 24 of St. Charles, Mo. and Curtis L. Wasser, 31 of Maryland Hts. Mo. are charged with Kidnapping, Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, and Armed Criminal Action.
Ryan J. Koenig, 24 of St. Charles, Mo. and Christopher C. Lujan, 22 of Midland, TX. are charged with Kidnapping.
The Wasser brothers bond has been set at $100,000.00 cash only. Bond was set at $75,000.00 cash only on Koenig and Lujan.
The incident was reportedly over a $520.00 debt that the suspect believed the victim owed him for selling a gun.
