CANTON, Ohio (KMOX/AP)- Former St. Louis Rams Aeneas Williams and Jerome Bettis are among the 15 modern-era finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s “Class of 2012.”
So is former Los Angeles Ram and Granite City High School South alumnus Kevin Greene.
The Hall’s selection committee meets next month to pick four to seven for enshrinement in August.
Also on the finalist list are: Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Parcells; wide receivers Tim Brown, Cris Carter and Andre Reed; running back Curtis Martin; offensive linemen Will Shields, Dermontti Dawson, & Willie Roaf; defensive linemen Chris Doleman, Charles Haley, and Cortez Kennedy; and owner Edward DeBartolo, Jr.
A familiar name to St. Louis football Cardinals fans did not make the list of finalists this year— the late Big Red head coach Don Coryell.
