MONTREAL (KMOX) - The hockey community is mourning the death of former St. Louis Blues general manager Ron Caron who passed away Tuesday, after a long illness.
Team broadcasters received word of Caron’s passing as the Blues prepared for tonight’s game at Montreal— not far from where the 82-year-old made his home in retirement.
“The Professor” as he was known, served as Blues GM from 1983 until 1994 and then as interim GM from ’96 through ’97.
