Woman Seriously Hurt After She’s Hit By Deer

ELLISVILLE, Mo. (KMOX) –  A woman was seriously hurt after she was struck in the head by a leaping deer Wednesday.

It happened outside Arvin Auto Service along Manchester Road in Ellisville.

Mayor Matt Pirrello says despite all the traffic and development in that area, they’ve had trouble with deer before.

“There’s actually a lot of deer killed on Manchester Road, especially this time of year,” he said. “Really from September through February.”

The Ballwin woman was knocked unconscious and was hospitalized with serious injuries.
