Charlie Brennan is joined by KMOX Sports Director Tom Ackerman from the Hyatt Regency in Downtown St. Louis for the 2012 Cardinals Care Winter Warm-Up. They kickoff the show by speaking with Cardinals TV play-by-play broadcaster Jay Randolph.

The off-season for the Cardinals has been especially short this time around due to the franchise’s eleventh World Series championship. One man working around the clock is Bill DeWitt III, President of the St. Louis Cardinals, and he takes some time to talk with Charlie and Tom.

One of the bigger heroes form the 2011 playoff run for the Cardinals was utility outfielder Allen Craig. Coming off knee surgery, Craig is primed to have a big 2012 season.

How will new manager Mike Matheny do in his first season? Charlie and Tom talk with Mike Jorgensen, a scout in the Cardinals organization, former manager for the club, plus was also part of the committee to find a replacement for future Hall of Fame manager Tony La Russa.

Former Cardinals outfielder Ray Lankford drops by the show to catch up with Charlie and Tom. Lankford played with the Cardinals for 13 years hitting .273 and 228 home runs.
