ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — The Cardinals announced Wednesday that they have extended Major League Spring Training camp invites to 19 non-roster players. The team also has selected 24 players to take part in early camp for Minor Leaguers.

Pitchers and catchers report to Jupiter, Florida on February 18 with their first workout set a day later at the S[ring Training facility. The Cardinals full squad reports on February 23.

The Cardinals non-roster invitee list includes 2011 Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year selections Matt Adams and Shelby Miller. The Cardinals 2011 first-round draft pick, infielder Kolten Wong, plus former Cubs catcher Koyie Hill.

The full list of Major League non-roster invitees follows:

PITCHERS (10): John Gast*, Nick Greenwood*, Tyrell Jenkins, Joe Kelly, Victor Marte, Shelby Miller, Trevor Rosenthal, Kevin Siegrist*, Jordan Swagerty, R.J. Swindle*.

CATCHERS (5): Luis De La Cruz, Koyie Hill, Steven Hill, Cody Stanley, Robert Stock

INFIELDERS (4): Matt Adams, Ryan Jackson, Eugenio Velez, Kolten Wong.

*Left-hander.

Among the early minor league camp participants include pitcher Carlos Martinez, outfielders Oscar Taveras, Lance Jeffries, C.J. McElroy, Charlie Tilson and infielder Kenny Peoples-Wall.
