F.B.I. Searches for Alorton Street Superintendent

ALORTON, IL. (KMOX) – The F.B.I. is looking for the street superintendent of the Village of Alorton.  38 year old Ronnie Cummings is considered a fugitive.

U.S. Attorney Stephen Wigginton says Cummings has been indicted for possessing firearm ammunition and for making false statements to law enforcement.

The indictment alleges that Cummings, a convicted felon, carried a semi-automatic handgun in his city vehicle.

An undercover police officer told the F.B.I. that Cummings had contacted him in an attempt to get an extra ammunition clip for the gun.

Cummings was questioned by an F.B.I. agent but denied having a gun.

If he’s caught and found guilty, Cummings faces up to ten years in prison on the firearm charge and up to five years for making a false statement to law enforcement.
