“Underworld” Is On Top
With an opening weekend gross of $25.4 million, “Underworld Awakening,” a movie about the human race discovering the existence of Vampire and Lycan clans that need eradication, finished number one at the movie box office. The film is in 3-D.
The new film about the Tuskegee Airman produced by George Lucas with $50 million of his own money, came in second last weekend with a respectable total of $19.1 million.
The Mark Wahlberg action thriller, “Contraband,” came in third with $12.2 million.
