Godfrey Teen Charged In BB Gun Shooting Spree

GODFREY, Ill. (KMOX) – Madison County authorities a Godfrey teen has been arrested in connection with a recent vandalism spree.
Sheriff’s officials have investigated 17 report of criminal damage to property in recent days.
In each case, someone used a pellet or BB gun to shoot out the windows of parked vehicles in the Villa Marie and Camelot Subdivisions.
Over that same time period, police in Wood River handled nearly two-dozen similar reports.
18-year-old Dylan Johnson and a second, juvenile suspect were taken into custody on a felony charge of criminal damage to property.
The crime spree’s estimated to have caused between $8,000 and $10,000 in damage.
