Jefferson County Man Arrested For Stealing Cars, Construction Equipment

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) –  Prosecutors say a Barnhart resident was a one-man crime wave.

51-year-old Joseph Henry faces nearly a dozen felony charges, including receiving stolen property and possessing equipment with altered identification numbers.

Police say they found numerous pieces of stolen property, including construction equipment and stolen vehicles, located at Henry’s home on Old Highway “M”.

Bond’s been set at $50,000.

Sheriff Glenn Boyer advises that Jefferson County, as well as surrounding agencies have been experiencing numerous reports of thefts of vehicles and stolen construction equipment.

He’s asking anyone with information to notify the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Tip-Line at 636-797-5515.

    Surveillance cameras and hidden spy cameras are being used more and more by construction companies to monitor expensive equipment and machinery.
