Jury: Man Smoked Crack With Woman, Raped Daughter

ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-A south St. Louis man has been found guilty of raping a 10-year old girl, after smoking crack with her mother.

A jury took about an hour to convict 30-year-old Brandon Bibbs on two counts of statutory rape and one count each of statutory sodomy and kidnapping.

Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce says DNA evidence found on the child and the crack pipe played a key role in the case.  Bibbs, of the 2700 block of Geyer, is scheduled to be sentenced in March.

The child’s mother is already in prison for child endangerment.
