ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A man shot after pointing a gun at a MetroLink security officer Tuesday has been charged.
29-year-old Dominic Webb of St. Louis faces one count each of unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a concealable firearm.
Police say around 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Hanley MetroLink platform, a security officer noticed Webb and another man arguing.
As he tried to intervene, Webb allegedly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the security guard.
The guard shot Webb and took his weapon, and was able to escape injury.
Webb was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries but is expected to survive.
