COTTLEVILLE, Mo. (KMOX) – Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will deliver a “major address” at St. Charles Community College on Monday afternoon.
Santorum would become the first candidate to visit Missouri this year.
His campaign said, in an announcement late Sunday, that the speech would focus on “jobs, the economy and American competitiveness.” It is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences building auditorium.
Santorum doesn’t intend on staying in the Show Me State long. He’ll also attend a 7:30 p.m. town hall meeting in Nevada.
The news release was titled “Santorum campaign moves toward Super Tuesday,” which indicates a change in strategy. Santorum canceled campaign stops in Florida this weekend to stay with his daughter, 3-year-old Bella, who was hospitalized with pneumonia.
