Trial Date Set For College Professor On Porn Charges

SAN FRANCISCO, Ca. (KMOX)-The California assistant college professor who has admitted sexually assaulting an infant girl from Ballwin, will soon be tried on charges he produced child pornography.

47-year-old Kenneth Kyle of San Francisco is scheduled to stand trial on the charges, in northern California Federal court, on April 2.

Kyle is already serving 30 years in prison, after pleading guilty in May to federal charges he crossed state lines to have sex with a minor. That minor was the infant daughter of Tessa Vanvlerah of Ballwin. They allegedly took pictures of the assaults, which began when the girl was five months old.

The 22-year-old Vanvlerah recently pleaded guilty in St. Louis County to statutory rape, statutory sodomy and incest. She’s scheduled to be sentenced on March 15. She still faces federal charges.

The FBI says it began tracking Kyle, after agents discovered that more than 100 child porn images were sent from his computer.
