Missouri’s Web Site Hacked
JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (KMOX) - Someone , today, hacked into the State of Missouri’s web site.
It happened around 10 this morning. In a brief statement Governor Nixon’s staff said the official web site for the State of Missouri was defaced.
Graphic scenes of war images were posted on the site. The governor’s office did not elaborate on the images.
The staffers say because of stringent security protocols immediate action was taken to remove the images.
As an additional precaution, MO-dot-Gov was taken offline for about a half hour. Officials say none of the data on the web site was compromised.
