Two Held in Valentines Day Murder

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A man and woman have been charged in the Valentines evening murder of a man and the wounding of two other people.

The Circuit Attorney’s office says 27 year old Steven Nunley and 32 year old Wanekii Weems are charged with Second Degree Murder and are both being held on 400-thousand dollars cash-only bond.

The pair is accused of entering a home in the 4300 block of Swan around nine o’clock valentines night and announcing a robbery.  Police say while three occupants tried to run they were gunned down.

32 year old Jerald Massey was shot in the abdomen and died at a hospital.  An 18 year old man was shot in the buttocks.  He was treated and released.  A 21 year old man was shot in the side and is listed in stable condition.

While the two suspect are held, the investigation continues.  The victims said there were three people who attacked them.
