BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) – The St. Clair County state’s attorney is thanking some whistleblowers for helping him bring charges in two separate corruption cases.

Brendan Kelly says Muhammad Musleh of St. Louis is accused of giving a health inspector fifty dollars to change the inspection score of a Crown Food Mart in East St. Louis.

Musleh is charged with one felony count of bribery. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.

In the second case, Kelly says William Mixon III of St.Charles allegedly wrote a fraudulent workers compensation policy to Wayne’s Hauling.

Ten fraud-related counts were filed against Mixon. If convicted, he faces up to seven years behind bars.
