Jaybirth Harris
WARRENTON, Mo. (KMOX) - Sheriff’s officials in Warren County say they’ve been getting complaints about a Peeping Tom lurking outside homes in Marthasville for the past several years.
Now, they’ve arrested a man caught on surveillance video looking into windows.
The camera had been set up in response to a homeowner’s concerns about someone coming around on a regular basis to peek in her windows.
25-year-old Jaybirth Harris of Marthasville is jailed on charges of 1st & 2nd degree burglary, stealing and invasion of privacy.
He reportedly entered some homes, while others he just looked through the windows.
Physical evidence against Harris includes a broken screen, a hand print on a window sill, and a bodily substance containing DNA collected from the siding beneath the window of one of the homes.
He’s being held on $20,000 cash bond.
