ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) -  While they plan to serve up great food for their customers, the owners of a new restaurant in St. Louis County will also provide something important for up to 200 people – a steady paycheck.

General Manager Tony Poole says when the BlackFinn American Grille opens its doors at the Galleria later this month, it will be one of the largest restaurants in this area.

“We’re 455 seats,” Poole tells KMOX News, adding that they’ll be filling more than 10,000 square feet of space on the Galleria’s north end. “We’ve got an outdoor patio that’s about 150 seats, and we’ve got a saloon on the inside that’s about 140, and then we’ve got a couple of dining rooms.”

He says customers will have a wide range of cuisine to choose from.

“From flatbreads to steaks,” he says. “We’ve got several seafood entrees on our menu, and we’ve also got a really good late-night menu.”

He adds they’re an established restaurant, but this is their first foray into the Midwest.

Their biggest immediate contribution to the local economy will be the hiring of 200 employees, which will be done during a Job Fair that runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. both Thursday and Friday, March 1st & 2nd.

Poole says applicants should be prepared to be interviewed on the spot.

Again, that Job Fair for the BlackFinn American Grille runs today and tomorrow, 10 am to 7 pm both days, at 1147 Saint Louis Galleria on the north side of the mall.

Go to www.BlackFinnStlouis.com for more information.

Look for the restaurant to open its doors on March 29th.
