ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - We now know more about the alleged actions of two Occupy the Midwest protestors who were arrested last week, as the group’s weekend-long conference was getting underway.
A pair of Ryans, 25-year-old Ryan Macias and 27-year-old Ryan Seal, were taken into custody after clashing with police at the Compton Reservoir, Grand at Russell.
According to a police report, Ryan Macias cursed an officer and then spit on him.
The officer chased Macias and tried to place him in handcuffs, but Macias allegedly resisted arrest.
The other protestor, Ryan Seal, is accused of jumping onto the back of the officer who was trying to arrest Macias.
They both face multiple counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
All of the charges are misdemeanors.
