ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) - The Federal Affordable Care Act celebrates its two-year anniversary this week. To celebrate, Department of Health and Human Resources Secretary Kathleen Sebelius came St. Louis Monday to talk about how the law affects people.
She said she is confident the law will be found constitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court. In response to Missouri’s legislature attempting to get rid of its health care exchange said:
“If thew state chooses not to set up a state-run exchange, we will have an exchange available, a new market available for residents of Missouri.”
The Supreme Court is expected to reach a decision on the law by the beginning of the summer, opening arguments begin next week.
