ST. JACOB, IL. (KMOX) - A St. Jacob Illinois man is charged with sexual assault of a child.

37 year old Tyler Landis is charged with two felony counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child and two felony counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.

Madison County Sheriff’s officials say Landis committed sexual acts with a girl under the age of 13 between March and September of 2010.

Landis was caught yesterday in Fayette County Illinois.  He is being held on 250-thousand dollars bond.
