MetroLink Customers Should Anticipate Delays Today

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — MetroLink is warning its customers that trains might be running later than usual throughout the day.

Customers should expect approximate 30-minute delays. A fiber-optic cable was damaged and is affecting communications with the MetroLink system and trains. The trains are moving but are behind schedule.

The Blue Line is currently operating only between the Shrewsbury I-44 MetroLink Station and the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station. Blue Line customers traveling east beyond the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Station will need to board an eastbound Red Line train.

Metro staff is out on the light-rail system assisting customers, and crews on scene are working on repairs.
