ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The news for residents along Lucas and 11th in St. Louis is getting better.
Health officials have the results of fourteen more samples taken after an underground pipe burst along Lucas and 11th.
St. Louis Health Director Pam Walker says the latest tests all came back negative for asbestos.
Walker says analysis is still not complete on samples taken from the Globe Building, but that should be available Wednesday.
She is confident the all clear will be given.
So far only a few samples have tested positive for asbestos.
Residents of the Lucas Lofts and the Globe buildings have been told to keep their windows closed and stay off balconies until all testing is complete.
