ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  Fans of the band Phish, known for their extended on-stage jams and Grateful Dead-like fan following, will be glad to know that they’re coming to St. Louis in late summer.

The second leg of Phish’s 2012 summer tour will feature the band’s first appearances at numerous venues, including their August 28th date at St. Louis University’s Chaifetz Arena.

An online ticket request period for the second leg of the tour is currently underway at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com/.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, April 27th.
