From Oklahoma to Iowa, areas west and north of Missouri were in the middle of a tornado zone Saturday.
In St. Louis, lightning in a thunderstorm forced the cancellation of Saturday’s Go St. Louis foot race activities. The Sunday events are due to run on schedule.
Saturday’s heavy rain finally ended in early afternoon and, after a two-hour rain delay, the Cardinals got to play. . .and beat the Cubs, 5 to 1.
