WATERLOO, Ill. (KMOX) - Brian Sweet, 50 formerly of Waterloo, was sentenced to more than 16 years in federal prison Monday for operating a meth lab out of his home.
Sweet managed to escape capture when a task force of local, state and federal officers raided his home in November of 2004, and he remained on the lam until last year.
U.S. Attorney Stephen Wigginton says Sweet was sentenced to a total of 195 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release.
