JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - A High Ridge woman was killed in a one-car crash Monday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car going south on Old Sugar Creek Rd. in Jefferson County failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and struck several trees.
The driver, 41-year-old Billie Grass, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger, 32-year-old Emily Yowell of Fenton, was airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur with serious injuries.

A man was killed early Tuesday when his motorcycle struck a car on Highway K in St. Charles County and ran off the road.
The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Bryan Newhouse of Menahga Minnesota.
His passenger, 29-year-old Kurtis Roghan also of Menahga, was seriously injured.
